Bio

Eric Petrie, I am a 32-year old American Chef currently based in the NYC area creating Mediterranean-inspired dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients. 

I grew up in Weehawken, NJ, learning to cook from my Italian-American mother.

I went to culinary school in Thailand-

at Dusit Thani College in Bangkok, graduating in 2014.

I spent seven years living in Bangkok working for

Michelin Star Chef Haikal Johari at his highly acclaimed Water Library Restaurant Group.

In 2016, I relocated to Mid-coast Maine to work for

James Beard Award winning Chef Melissa Kelly at her sustainability focused restaurant: Primo in Rockland

I held the position of Chef de Cuisine of the second

Primo located in Orlando, FL- from 2021 until early 2023.
